HI everybody ! this week i´m going to start making my press and dies... and i´ll make the same as the thread "lets make a swage press" but i want to make my press compatible with the corbin -H dies( and i want to make the dies too BTW ) but i dont find any kind of dimentions in their website so i cant continue with this project ...

The dimentions are ...
height
diameter up and at the bottom part
and type of screw / Threads type

could any of you give me the dimentions of these dies ? or somewhere i could get that info ? thaks BTW this is the greatest swagging forum ever made!!!! :D

This link probably wont give you everything you are looking for, but its a pretty good starter page with many links to some good information that should help you out a little bit.

Bullseye good question At least I think so lol. Being new I haven't found the internal Dimensions either such as the threads size and location, openings etc.

Spanners that would be great!

I'll get onto it later tonight or tomorrow - will take pic and dimension it in Paint or something

Hopefully this will lead to someone with the gear offering limited custom dies like BT is, but for the big presses

This is a Corbin H Die - 44 Core Swage - which is about 0.366 IIRC

I have the rest of the set along with 308, 10mm and some tube jacket parts

Disclaimer - If I messed it up and it dont fit - tough **** :D

Cheers Spanners,

I have been keen to know some of the die dimensions mate.

BTW, are you going to post some projectiles to Australia when you get your speccy press running full steam?

Just waiting on jackets then start to play!
I'm sure they will end up across the ditch

I think my heavy 44s will be the go for some of OZs big critters :)

Well my Walnut Hill press came in (only a week wait) so I need to finish the plastic injection machine and start making my dies!! Hope to start on the dies Thursday.

Those measurements are for Corbin H dies - double check your ram and head threads.
Also the slot in the ram where the base of the internal punch sits - I think from memory using the above die the punch is about 30mm down from the mouth

Understand and thank you Spanners! I'll be using them as a guide only. Being new without a set to use as a reference that picture is worth a lot lol!
