You'll have to go with copper tubing, and fabricate them.

The "standard" manufacturing process for producing cups that deep would require a "Progressive" punch type "deep draw" process. Expensive set up, expensive tooling, and expensive parts.

None of the standard jacket makers make them as long as you desire.

So, either contract with a deep draw stamping company (I bet you have them in OZ or NZ), or make them yourself from copper tubing.

You might be able to talk to this guy. He makes jackets. I think he can make almost anything. Unless things have changed his delivery time is long since this is not his real job. Nice guy though.

Would you mind telling us why? Perhaps we can suggest a "work around".

That is a tough one. I know your not interested in brass cases. THis is for anyone else reading the need for large 44 cal jackets. I did make a good looking 300+ grain 44 cal from a sized down 45 ACP case.

Good luck withyour project. Like I have said anything is possible.

Is there a copper tubing size between .375 and .500? There must be.
