View Full Version : Superhard arsenic content and quench hardening...

I have a large amount of pure elemental lead...

I had previously noticed using rotometals superhard + isotope lead that even though I was using a scant handful of non-magnum lead shot I was still getting good quench hardening to around 22+ BHN.

Has anyone tried straight superhard + isotope lead + tin for casting? Since it sounds like superhard may be a one-stop-shop for both antimony and arsenic, I'm wondering if I can save my lead shot for just shotshells.

Best regards,
