I have some of what I was told is called "plus metal" it is in ingot form and was used to bring linotype up to spec after it had been melted down and reused a few times.
Anybody familiar with this metal's alloy content ?
I would imagine it contains a lot of tin since I have been told lino loses its tin after being melted a few times.
