I have a full size 1/4 inch steel buffalo and a full size 5/16 inch steel horse with a "rider" on a hinge that when you shoot the rider, he falls off the horse. Anyone have a guess as to what the price would be, if to be sold? Buffalo has been hit with black powder rounds numerous times. The other not so much. No holes in either one. Gary

The weight of the steel alone has value.

Hard to say. AT MINIMUM it is worth scrap steel value, and to a user that needs them,
a bunch more. To many folks, not useful - but if you find the right guy or club, they should
be willing to pay way more than scrap value.

Neat targets...probably way out of my price range...I could have my own QUIGLEY targets at home.

I'd contact one of the SASS outfits that hosts Cowboy Action shoots and make them a deal.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Post pics on an auction site & see what develops

Thin steel does not hold up well. I had thick diamond plate targets a friend cut out for me. The ram at 200 meters turned into a salad bowl from a .44 very soon. I tried a sledge but it didn't work so I kept turning it around.
I got hold of some half inch steel free and cut a whole set plus had enough for a half size buffalo we put at 500.
The stuff needs to be armor plate and that is expensive.
Never shoot soft steel too close, pock marks will sent bullet parts back at you.
