Seems like the right place to ask so here goes.
Does anyone know of a forum for BP "bolt action" rifles?
Most info here is great but very little about bolt action rifles.
I know, I know I am tilted a little to the left, or is it the right, I forget sometimes.
Any way if anyone knows of a forum let me know.

The 88 Commission Rifle forum has a section on the 71/84. Not a lot, but at least there is some activity.

Tried twice to join the BPCR.net forum .
Never heard a word from them.
Tried to contact moderators to find out what was wrong. Seems you must be a member to contact moderators so it is a catch 22.
Gave up trying.
Probably would not accept me as I only have bolt action rifles.

Yes I used the link when trying to regester and again when I tried to ask about my membership!

That is why I am looking for another site.

I was invited to a BP shoot several weeks ago and was accepted until someone found out I did not own a "BP cartridge Rifle" meaning a Sharps or Remington roller.
Once they found out I had Bolt Action 43 Mausers you would of thought I had the Plague hence the comment.

That's just foolishness on their part. By the terminology you do in fact shoot a BPCR. The fact it does not meet the rules for competition is no reason to wander from forums such as this. We make our ammunition just as you and in point of fact, yours may need to be tougher since it must feed properly. That is rough on a paper patch. I own several single shots and have never fired or handled a 43. Might be a hoot for all I know.
