Hello. I'll buy a die to size lead bullets (monotype alloy) made in LEE molds for 308 winchester. LEE have .308 and .309 sizing dies. Wich the most suitable for better acuracy, without causing bore leading?

First, you need to know your barrel's groove dimension...so, slug the barrel.

As a general rule, .001" over groove will be all that's required. However...your gun may prefer .002" or .003" over groove. It'll let you know which.

Of course, there is no guarantee that something other than boolit size won't cause leading.

are you going to shoot straight monotype through it?
or alloy it with some lead or WW?

I'll buy alloy with: 5Sn x 83Pb x 12Sb. In fact, is like linotype, correct?
I have a bit of WW also that i use for .38 spl rounds.

Can I alloy ww in linotype for 308 win with gas ckeck?

Excuse my English, because I speak portuguese usually......
