Just got a new 36 yesterday! G36 that is. The single stack Glock. Traded a pre-lock Model 66 Smith for it. Had the Smith for about 12 years and hadn't been shot in about 5. Taking up space! The guy I traded with bought the Glock this year and put Trijicons on it. Had about $700 tied up in the gun (Sticker on box had $550+cost of sights and install). He said he had to have a wheelgun so I traded. I am more of a wheel gun guy, but couldn't pass this up. I shot 100 rounds through it last night without a bobble! They were Lee TC 230gr. loaded on Wolf steel cases!! Ran like a top! Accurate too. I just got the Sherer Magazine +1 base plates for it too.

God bless the cast boolit Glock shooters! We have to put up with way too much grief from the masses.

Hopefully the Wolf cases did not have the smaller extractor groove.

The M66 is a very nice revolver. I think I would have kept it. I thought about the G36 but decided on the G30SF...fits me better and more rounds but not as concealable or handy as the G36. Both are fine weapons.

I've rolled the idea of a Glock 36 around a little. With the Pearce or similar base plate, that pistol might fit my hands all right.

The 66 was a fine revolver. I have 2 other .357s. This was a good trade!
