The Lee Shaver LR Ferris Rifle

Have any of you guys seen the Lee Shaver LRML rifle yet? If not here are some pics. I was at a Mid Range match this weekend where they have a cartridge class and one of the guys from the US Team going to Bisley this fall for the worlds had his new rifle with him. ENJOY.

Wow, that's a nice looking rifle! Is this going to be a regular production item from Lee shaver? I hope so, an American made alternative to the Pedersoli Gibbs.

Any other particulars? Barrel size, caliber, length, weight, maker? Very nice looking rifle, BTW.

The pictures don't really do it justice. It is hand built by Lee Shaver, Badger 16 twist 451 barrel X 34" long. It isn't cheap as in about twice the price of the Gibbs by Pedersoli, but there is no comparison on workmanship. I didn't get to shoot this one but the balance seems a little better than the Gibbs. Lee has a web site that I think you can view this rifle.
