Team.

I called on 'Tertle' at the weekend. He was like a kid in a candy store with his two new NOE moulds. I had not seen any of Swede Nelson's work before. Absolutely outstanding moulds I have to say and I am looking forward to my 5 cavity 314008 later in the year.

The 313640 HP is amazing. Can you call it a HP when you can park a small bus in the cavity??

They are fine pieces of the mould making art. I have 3 and will get more. Mihec's are just as nice.
We truly are blessed to have mound makers of this quality who produce a product we can afford.

+1 They are top notch. I had the opportunity to meet and visit with Al when I picked up my 22-055 mold. I was very impressed with him and his operation. Only problem is now that I know where he is, I won't ever be able to keep any funds in my bank account.

I luv my NOE 44 mold. First casting session I was only fooling around and still got about 100 good hollow point boolits.

I only have one NOE mold but it is by far the best casting mold I own.

They are truly are gems, but unfortunately they tend to reproduce... ;-) Swede is a great guy to deal with too.

Man!

As we speak this very moment in cyber time, i have a small weee pile of my precious's right beside me, i almost feel like Gollum in a cave fussing over shiny things! In all seriousness what a joy of joys, my very first two molds turn up on consecutive days just before the weekend, after some trial and error (see next post on how to fix a RCBS promelt!!) the weekend was spent crafting and tinkering, Blammer and Swede thanks a bundle for helping a newbie, and if you don’t have a NOE mold already……..do ya self a favour!

the 25cal that looks to be my new focus for a while and with the great variation in molds, sadly im spoilt for choice with that mold! the HP looks as if it will be interesting on game. looking forward now to getting my first hunting rifle(25/06) back out a bit more often.

but the 313640........plain brutal, my lord i cant wait to try that! wallabies and rabbits look out! that is what i call a void, not a HP!!!

Im now REALLY Looking forward to the latest addition!!!!!a 3C 3FN 3GC+HP .314 311466, that weekend im getting what ever pot cooks my lead properly and im casting till my hearts content........

would post pics but havent worked that out yet :)

NOE moulds - a thing of beauty

Now that is an understatement for sure. Almost hated to pour lead into any of mine. Key word there is almost.

I only have four and I really need to fix that.

Jeff, I love my two NOE five bangers. They drop beautiful boolits with ease. I have the 357 200gr RCBS clone and the 7mm RCBS 145 clone albeit with the larger meplat. They are works of art compard to all my othe rmoulds form Lymwn RCBS amd Lee. Peter. Oh and did I mention how the boolits just drop from the moulds on opening?

Alot of the group buys are done through NOE. There are 2 that I am looking at at the moment.

Only five, but I am on list for six more... I have the 311365 sitting next to my book case in the living room. I find myself just picking it up and fondling it in the evenings, and the boolets next to it.

Just finally getting one of mine going (311365), but I seem to have lost my instructions on "seasoning" it. What temp do you guys bake the mould, and for how long?

Blammer

set it on the lead pot for about 30 mins then let cool, then repeat about two times total, should be good to go.

I just got my first one but have another one on order. They are a work of art and I like the fact that they are made in the USA. I am currently seasoning mine and can't wait to cast some boolits with it.
