I was searching around the Magnum Research site and saw that their custom shop can install an octagon barrel (for extra $$$ of course) on a BFR. Does anyone own one or have pictures? My initial thinking is that it would result in a beautiful gun, but seeing is believing, so any pictures would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Branden

There's one up in the current month's submissions. Take a look.

I think they're kinda funky looking as the portion that actually touches the frame is round, while the remainder is octagonal.

That one was rebarreled with a true octagon barrel, but the octagon barrel from the Precision Center is different.

I saw this gun, or it's twin for sale in the gun library at Cabelas for $800 including .45-70 and 450 marlin cylinders. Should have..... well, you know.

Thanks for the pictures. It looks cool, but they would really have a winner if they had a true octagon barrel. Oh well, I guess I cannot have my cake and eat it too.
