I bought a few from RedBirdGunParts off bag, these don't have the original military finish but they do work well. Until you get some practice using them be careful as you can cut your thumb on the corners when thumbing rounds into the magazine.
Price was good and I think they will hold up just fine.

The Red Bird Gun Parts chargers look like the recently made Chinese copies of old Finnish chargers, complete with reproduction Finnish proof mark. The Chinese copies have a uneven blotchy metal finish. I have several very old Finnish chargers, and the Finnish ones operate more smoothly, and have a metal finish looking like brushed Stainless. The Chinese copies work better with use. I like to lubricate rims with Imperial Sizing die wax, which does not kill primers, for even smoother operation.

These Chinese copies of the Finnish chargers are better than the Chinese copies that don't have the fingers (those I have were brought in by Tapco). The Chinese copies without the fingers are from metal that is too thick, and I have difficulty getting a charger full of cartridges into any of my Mosins.

There was a batch of early Bulgarian on chargers that came in several years ago, and another lot of Polish on chargers that came in less than a year ago. They work very nicely.

If you can find the Brass chargers they seem to work best in my gun - I'll have to buy some from Redbirdgunparts off ebay to try.

The Finish ones I have are what look like a crome plating. They are from the 30's

I use brass ones as stripper clips for 7.5 Swiss in my K-31.

It works great, but I come up short 1 round.

The Romanian stripper clips are not too bad.

Polish ones work great. Have heard the repro ones from Gun Parts are okay also.

I have used both brass and steel made stripper clips and all of them had sharp edges somewhere.

I selected a few and gave a nice clean-up with fine sandpaper -no more worries.

You know what they say practice makes perfect and bring band aids.

Got the e-bay specials - who's mark is the triangle in circle on the back of these?

Artful, if I remember correctly the triangle in a circle is Egyptian manufacture. The 'triangle' is a pyramid. Of course I could be dead wrong.

The triangle, circle, T proof is Finnish, but if you bought them on eBay they are probably the recently-made Chinese fakes. See the originals near the bottom here:

The fakes look good, but don't work so well.

No T, just triangle in a Circle.

I've got some. They also work in my 1891 Mauser.
Now, if only it had a 10 round magazine ...

the argie and turk 91 mausers take a rather narrow charger held in place by the ejector box 'lever'and are rimless cartridge rifles. How'd you get the mosin chargers to work in a 91 mauser with rimmed ammo ?.

I have a 91/05/24 turk. It has the notch and the rivited stripper clip blocks.
I had purchased these from Centerfire a while ago. They look and work just like my old 5rd strippers, but are longer. I also have a few Mosin clips that are just bent up pieces of brass, but these work nicely for me. now if I only had a larger magazine ...

My bad ...
These are 7.62x39 stripper clips.
They hold 10 per clip.
20 for eight bucks. #strsks02
And no, I'm not shilling nor spamming.
Just explaining.
My 8mm fit and work very easily.
