:coffee: ----Finally pulled out an M-44 that a Friend an I took down to bare metal and wood and together we refinished---New bluing and stain an varnished the stock. Gun came out nice and I gave it to my son--after his divorce he brought the rifle back home. I had shot it with surplus ammo an that short rifle kicked like a mule and flames came out everywhere. Often thought it might be a good candidate for lead boolits and i was right . Shot good after a site adjustment both elevation and windage. So as I expected it turned out to be a pleasure to shoot with cast--It grouped well and was a lot of fun--easy to handle because its so short and light. For sure it will be going to the range with me more often.----Mag
