I'm thinking of adding to my reloading library. What I have currently:

Hornady 7th
Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook - 1973
Lyman Pistol and Revolver Handbook 3rd.

I like all the above because they seem to have the most choices of bullets and powders. I also use Hodgons website a lot.

I would be interested in any suggestions for other current or not too old, books that have multiple choices of bullets and powders especially cast bullets.

Thanks,

Jeff

Lee 2nd edition and Lyman 48 or 49th edition. The Lyman cast bullet 4th also has lots of data including other than Lyman cast bullets.

Jeff, don't waste your money on any of the books you listed.
If I had a bare library of reference books - which I don't, here's my choices:
* Lyman Cast Handbook, the new 4th Edition ONLY ... http://www.amazon.com/Lyman-Cast-Bullet-Handbook-4Th/dp/B004DWBKQY
* Lee 2nd Edition Reloading Manual ... http://www.amazon.com/Lee-2nd-Reloading-Manual-Md/dp/B000N8OKAU
* Old Ideal/Lyman Handbooks, especially any of the '40's and '50's ones ... http://www.cornellpubs.com/old-guns/historic-ideal.php

Why these? Because they are all specific to lead cast bullets, not jackets

The RCBS Cast Bullet Manual, Number 1 is long out of print but can still be found on ebay. There is not a Number 2.

The Art of Bullet Casting on CD, from Wolfe Publishing Company (Rifle and Handloader magazines).

Glen Fryxell's PDF casting book, available from lasc.us (link at the bottom of the page).
