What a country!! I am fortunate to live in this wonderful land. A little later today I am going to go outside and shoot some of my favorite rifles. Maybe a revolver too if I like. Happy Birthday America!

Last night, I watched the movie "1984" for the first time.
Orwell had great insight ( or maybe hindsight ? ), on what
people (in the ruling class) are capable of, if their power isn't checked and balanced.
