Doe anyone make a good mold for the .310 BSA cadet.

Or does anyone sell cast bullets already sized and lubed?

Buffalo Arms sell Cadet bullets.

Jim at CBE in AU makes the biggest range of .310 moulds anywhere. About 6 or 7 from memory.

RCBS makes a dandy round-nosed heeled boolit, just right for the .310 Cadet- No lube grooves to mess with. This is NOT a special order item, in fact, most mail-order houses keep it in stock (MidwayUSA, Grafs, Natchez, BuffaloArms, etc)
Loading is so simple- no sizing necessary, as a matter of fact, no dies are necessary at most times-- just de-prime the case, re-prime the case, load with approx 4.0gr Unique, and finger seat the boolit in the case. You will push the boolit down as far as it will go until the larger diameter forward part meets the case mouth- you have now loaded a .310 Cadet round- for lube, hold the loaded round by the rim, and dip the boolit, just up to the case mouth, in warmed lube, consisting of 1/2 beeswax and 1/2 Johnson's Pastewax. Let the lube dry (a few minutes) and carefully wipe the excess off with a rag- the very small lube ring (outside the case) should hold a bit of lube- not much is needed.
The 4.0gr Unique load is very mild and perfect for fun, as well as training a young shooter in the basics, just like a Cadet rifle was designed to do!
Enjoy!!!
