Cast Boolits designed for the .303 Brit are generally big enough in diameter for the 7.62X39mm, That might be an easier search.
I cast for this caliber and had to hone out a Lee C309-150FN mold to .313" and size boolits to .312" to fit my 7.62X39mm Remington Spartan single shot rifle for a deer load. There is a good selection of molds that drop the right size. Slugging your bore to get a groove to groove diameter measurement of your bore and sizing boolits +.002 up from that measurement is the standard way to start and get cast boolits with a good chance for accuracy.
undersize boolits are a nightmare with poor accuracy and leading--don't go there.

32-20 boolits are an excellent readily available source of cast lead bullets for use in the 7.62x39 cartridge provided your gun is not a semi-auto action or you are willing to feed them by hand one at a time and fire them one at a time. I haven’t been able to get them to cycle in either an SKS or AK.
If you want semi-auto feeding and don’t want to cast your own, this is one source for cast lead bullets specifically for 7.62x39:

The Lee mold boolits for the7.62X39mm shoot great, even out of semi-autos, Unfortunately their pointy noses are pitiful on deer. I chose to hone out one of the Lee flat nose bullet molds for hunting and have been very happy with fit and accuracy from my Spartan Rifle in X39. I get that 150 grain flat nose boolit to go 2150 fps and group less than 1 inch at 50 yards and 2.1 inches at 100 yards from the Spartan. It makes a nice deer rifle for my grandson.
