Catshooter's .45 210 Group Buy starts here!

Let's do this too. This will be for my idea of a .45 auto boolit. Target weight is ~ 210 grains, diameter ~ .453.

Lee six cavity mould, no handles of course. Once the moulds are here I will pull one and cast with it. If they're good, out they go to y'all.

Price is $60, shipping included, with part of our dough going to a mould for 45 2.1 for his design/drawing work. See the .45 310 group buy for further deatails. Same sort of ideas apply here.

I'll keep this open for about a month, then issue last call, wait a bit for the last checks and then off we go. Usually takes a couple months for Lee to do their thing.

The Boolit:

The history on this boolit is that I have a two cavity newer Lyman 452424 that I really like. It casts like you really want them all to do, but of course it's a two fer.

I've loaded this boolit in all of my Smith .45s and a Springfield 1911, it's never jammed once. Shoots very accuratley and of course hits hard.

I just wanted more speed that this boolit at 255 grains would give me in a .45 auto without straining things too much. Just a bit more.

So I took two boolits, and cut 'em off, losing the crimp groove and one driving band, then glued them together. Send them off to 45 2.1 and he drew it up.
