I recently found a Lyman 45 Lubricator and Sizer which is in great shape. I would like to learn the value of it.
It has the original box, original instruction leaflet and a stick of Lyman Ideal bullet lubricant in an original box. The sizer itself appears practically unused with only a bit of paint chipped on the cap of the lube reservoir. The mounting holes in the base appear to have never had a screw or bolt through them. There is a bit of paint scuffed on the pivot point of the handle so it has been mounted and cycled a few times. I would say this is as close to a collector item as can be found.

Assistance in determining a value is appreciated.

Note the chipped paint on the cap in this photo.

If you can buty it for $50 you will do well.
Put it on eBAy and get $100 and more likely up to $150 for it.

It would look good in my collection.

that's nice ! it's a newer model of the 45 ( solid aluminum reservoir cap and pin pivot vs. screwed in shoulder bolt and with newer styled label ) but still nice - the box and paper work is merely a bonus and like ken i'd say that it would look good in my collection but i'd be using it ! the #45 is me fav sizer , true value actually means nothing especially on evil bay some folks will bid crazy on something they want - even if a new one is in stock and cheaper , my own personal limit for really nice ones is around $ 100 , all that aside thanx for sharing the fotos ! ( i love eye candy !!! )

I have 4 used lyman 45 lubers in good condition, if you want top dollar ebay is your best bet.

There isn't a 45 in eBay completed items that went for over $90 and that one had dies and top punches included. $55 looks to be about the price. You may get a premium for condition, but $150 is a tad optimistic...
