Yea but is the trouble worth? Mine are 22 and 25 and burn my ammo up, dont clean my guns ,and dont reload or cast . Oh yes pay for nothing they use. As the English call adult children KIPPERS

I now use the brass wizard from Unique Tek.com . I would recomend getting the optional telescoping handel for a few dollars more .

Someday I'm going to build a brass catcher/stopper. Mine will be a 3 sided rig with a "roof". the whole thing will be a simple stick frame, braced, with light fiberglass netting of window screen for the walls and roof. Made 5-6 ft deep it should catch all the brass, even 380!

My nightmare is catching brass out of my AK!

Been thinking about a similar brass catcher, set on a cheap camera tripod, set down range about 10 foot.

One more project to get to!

Nice brass catcher!!!

I go a bit simpler route, I crack my first few rounds off and watch where the brass falls. After this I lay out a cheap tarp and go on with my shooting. When I'm done I just fold it in half to funnel all the brass into a box. Tarp size of course depends on how the brass kicks out from the action. It’s not a neat as a dedicated brass catcher and I do end up loosing a case or two every great while. What can I say it’s the poor mans way. ;)

If standing on the ground! ive seen people using large golfing umbrellas useing the point and pushing it into the ground and opening it up to catch brass , it works pretty well !

That's what kids are for.

I'll second that... if they're 10 and under at least...

I've got a minnow net on a frame and the brass hits it and fall's to the ground. :)

Brass is cheaper than kids. Besides, my kid is now 17 and she won't pick it up unless she caused it to be on the ground. this must be why I have over 3K cases for 45 auto.

I was shooting next to a guy who had a Para .38 super today. His cases fall to ground in the size of your hand. His score was real bad. I was shooting small groups and my cases flew for miles.:groner:

I need one for my CZ52, even with a 18# spring it throws them at least 35'. and I do not like the surplus ammo so I use cast in it with great results.

When shooting my CZ 83 (7.65 Browning) I spend more time searching for cases than I do shooting. The thing throws the cases three benches to my right.
