Read a little article in American Handgunner about the "Perfect revolver round" the 45acp. i have a Smith Mod 25-2. so I was all ears. One cast bullet was interesting was the 45 full wadcutter at 225 grains.i shoot 38WC (H & G #50) in my Model 10 38 Special. Anyone use this bullet ?

Any boolit over 200 gr prints extremely HIGH in my 25-2 revolvers.
Better off trying the H&G 68 or a clone of approx. 200 gr. This boolit shoots to point of aim and cuts a very clean hole which helps in scoring. I do beleive the sights on the 25-2 are regulated for the H&G 130, 185 gr swc at 50 yards .

I shoot a Ruger Blackhawk w. a .45 ACP cylinder--the Lyman 185 WC with 5.0 grains or Red Dot shoots accurately and gives me 1,000 FPS MV---a great plinker round---no problem adjusting the sight to shoot to point of aim.

I used a 255 grain Flat Point on Bowling Pins with good results in a S&W 625 with a 5" barrel. 4.7 grains of Bullseye gave me 775 fps. Sounds slow, but it works. It took pins off a 3 foot table pretty good.
