nice! Love that ruger!
Nice, when you go to warm up the 375 make sure your shoe laces are tight. Gtek
I've read books by several old school dangerous game hunters say that the .375 H&H mag. is a global, do-all caliber. That's really a beautiful rifle you've got there. I'm impressed!

WOW Benz. That Ruger is REALLY nice. I once owned TWO 375 H&H's. One would put big 300 grain bullets into 5/8 ths of an inch from sand bag bench rest at 100 yards and it would do that consistently. I used the 375 H&H for elk, moose, and big bears and never found it wanting. I had always intended on going to Africa with those rifles. Now I use a .338 Win. Mag. for those chores. I gave up on ever going to Africa and learned that I did not give up much, if anything by going "down" to the .338.
I hope you enjoy that rifle as much as I did stomping around in the woods with mine. It gives you a good feeling knowing that no matter what comes out of the bush, (in the USA) you can dang shore kill it with the .375 H&H . It is capable of the most excellent accuracy and power.
And YES!! You have an addiction! But it's a good one.

Love the #1 and yes wood is so much nicer than the tupperware stocks.
People laughed at me when I asked what bullet to use for plinkin with my winchester 70 .375
It's fun to shoot!! a lot more than stuff like the 300RUM
great acquisition !!!!!

:Have a twin to your #1. Also have #1's in 45-70 and 22-250, as well as a #3 in K Hornet. Wish I could afford more. All of mine shoot cast real well. My #1 likes 4198 with cast.

Nice new guns! I had that same grip on my Contender.......HAD. It does a very good job telegraphing the recoil into your hand and up your arm. I replaced it to a more "chubby" grip. I was shooting full house .44s though. You did real well. Enjoy those guns!

Congrats very nice Ruger #1
I had one in .243 got the itch and traded it off for some other gun I no longer have.
I been wanting one in 45-70 to go along with my Marlin 45-70 Lever Evolution.
They say the Ruger can stand a warmer charge than the Marlin.
Bought the Marlin to go on a pig hunt that fell through but packed it last year for deer.
The gun fever never ends.

Very nice guns. A Contender in .222 is on my wish list, and would be a nice companion for my own Sako!

Now all you need to do is get rid of that UGLY Alexander Henry forend and replace it with a nice piece of contrasting walnut or Ebony.

Looking good. I'd like that No 1 for the pesky gophers on the back lawn.
