I just got some lead square rods from a friend... It says I.S.C. 2.625. I'm thinking it's 2 and 1/4 ounce rod.... but is it lead? Also taracorp was written on others. It's melted down so no futher info can be given.

If you mean Terracorp, then it could be their Magnum Alloy. If so, then composition would be 2/6/92 (Sn/Sb/Pb) and it was made for bullet casting.

"The alloy was a joint development effort by Terracorp and Magma. The goal was to develop an economical yet effective replacement of Lyman No.2 for the commercial casters.

The Magnum Alloy (Generic name is "Hardball Alloy") is most easily created by mixing equal parts of pure lead with linotype (4/12/84). Doing so gives you the resulting 2/6/92."

Not sure if that is what you have, but the name sounded close! Ofcourse, it could be something else that Terracorp made, too!
