A QC inspector caught me at work today ,says "hey, I need to talk to you". Seldom a good thing,so grudgingly I go to the office . "Hi Rich ,can you us some shot?" Well yeah! So I follow him home he hands me a brand new bag of 5% antimony West Coast 7 1/2s. Then hands me an unopened can of AL8 $2.95. Yes I know ,that can is older than the dirt on it,but its a "brand new can".

That's a good powder, assuming it's still in usable condition...Ray

even if the powder is toast, the can is a very cool shelf sitter

AL-8 was my favorite powder for .357 Magnum powder with 110 gr. bullets. I still have some last I used it was under 160gr bullets in .351 WSL. loads were accurate but did not always function action.

Moved back south to Hawthorne. These days any score is good but an all knowns score for free ,that's just a little bit of heaven. I've about 400# shot, floor sweeps, partial bags,so this was nice .

:coffee:Used to shoot a lot of Alcan 8 way back when. Has to be like 30 years ago I think.
