I love WSF in 9mm, I have nice loads worked up, it meters well, and I have a lot of it on hand.
I'm starting to load .380, and I've looked around for data with this powder to no avail. I'm loading a 100g cast lead RNFP.
If anyone has any data for WSF and .380 I'd much appreciate it.
I made up a few test rounds yesterday with Unique, and many seem to like it in this caliber. I'd like a powder that meters a bit better, though, with the tiny charges I need.
Any help is appreciated, even if you tell me to go fish.:oops:

I use either HP38 or WW231 in my 380 ACP with a RNFL bullet from Ranch Dog Outdoors, sized at .356".

HP38 and ww231 are identical powders now that Hodgdon has taken over Wincherster powder. They dont advertise it but if you ask them, they will confirm it.

HP38 = WW231
H414 = WW760
H110 = WW296

there are no guarantees but here is my experience for what it's worth. In the 9MM I did a lot of chrono work that included WSF and Herco and they are like identical twins in that cartridge with any bullet weight. In the .38 spl with various bullet weights they are very very close. The Alliant Powder guide lists only one load with Herco( in the .380) and that is 4.4 grs/Herco/95 gr. FMJ=910 FPS@14.6KPSI. If you care to try that should give you a "ballpark"idea.
