You may wish to ask this in the handgun section. Matter of fact, I'll just move it for you.
Welcome aboard

Most people here that I've read like 80 to 100 grain boolits. In jacketed bullets the Com Block used 80 grainers (If I remember correctly) at about 1600 fps. And jacketed should probably get along better with this ctg. as it has way more potential than any of the guns chambered for it.

I use 120 grain Lyman 311576 cast boolits from a mold that I opened up sized to .314" to fit my CZ-52. They throw brass into orbit (it dissappears), but this might be due to the ejector finger being too far forward (and not just slide velocity), don't shorten your ejector before you have a replacement in your hand (just in case). Accurate #7 is a great powder for this cartridge.

Su Ingles is muy bueno, hay no problemo.

I took apart a factory cartridge, and found 8 gr. of a flake powder. Something similar would be Herco or Unique or 800-x, I think. At any rate I loaded 6.5 gr. of DuPont 800-X with the two different round-nose designs, cast & sized .309. It worked pretty well, functioned the guns - a CZ52 and a Romanian Tokarev - but recovering the brass takes some searching.
