I'm just about done with my 700*** and I'm needing to design a paper patched boolit for it. I'm looking for something in the area of 1500 to 2000grs total weight. 1000gr would work as well but its kinda light for the cal lol . The reason i want paper patch is for the great non leading factor and ease of cleaning up after it. also its going to be run at high pressures and fast velocity's. i was wondering if any of you guys have some thoughts on a design. I can cut the mold so that's not a problem. I will most likely make a 1000gr light mould and a 2000gr heavy. Thanks guys

A .7" lead cylinder at 2000gr will be 1.8" long and demand a 1/40" barrel.
A 2" boolit will require 1/36" and a 2.2" = 1/33, 2.4" = 1/30"
What is you barrel?
As or design, what about finding an existing design you like and scale it up to fit?
Unless you have a BIG breake on it, that gun will rattle your fillings and beat the snot out of you.

so far this is the gun, i just need to finish the stock and she is ready. the barrel is a Cro Moly Krieger barrel in .700 caliber, 20 twist. .690 Bore, .700 groove.

according to my quick load numbers it will push a 1000gr boolit to 2300fps easily.

JT:
What kind of files can you open up with your CAD program, iges, dwg, dxf, stl?
If you want, I can send you a CAD drawing and you go from there.

How many FPS will it push the shooter in the opposite direction?!?
Good GAWD - that one brass projectile looks like a mini Navy 16" gun round!
Whadda' ya' gonna' shoot at with this thing?

Anything on the planet. And, possibly, some stuff that ain't.
HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BYnG4vrb-U&feature=related) is a short video of a .700 Nitro Express being lit off. That might give you some semblance of JT's rifle.

Then again here's a 4'bore 2000gr shot from a proper shooter

And a 2 bore 3500gr from anoter proper shooter

So it's a matter of shooter and determination.
