I recently acquired this old shotshell press. Looks like an old Lyman or Ideal. Maybe someone here has one, or knows more about it. Does it have a specific name? What year(s) were they manufactured? And, does it appear to be complete? Thanks!

It is a Lyman, Vandalia if memory serves me. Would be from the mid 1950's. Also the last press to feature the over the top handle design that began with the Ideal armory press in 1898 and continuing through the Ezy Loader.

Thanks Ken! I do remember the "Vandalia" name, however, I was calling it the "Vidalia", as in the Vidalia onion

Anyway, the time period (1950's) sounds about right with respect to the other equipment included: SAECO click adjustable powder measure, Herter's presses and cast iron powder/shot measure, etc.

Thanks again for the info Ken!
