tube fed 22 speed loaders

A friend of mine has had these for a long time I finally made some for my self they work slick.. Just get some alum. shaft arrows with an inside dia. of .30 or better cut to the diseried length { i used a pipe cutter dont forget to use the reamer to clean up the edges} mine hold 10rnds each get some quick cotter keys from hard ware store put 1 at each end and your loading that 22 fast :bigsmyl2:

Cool!
I was just getting ready to make something like this using a large diameter milkshake staw.
I have several broke aluminum arrow shafts I'd kept for a crossbow bolt project, then found a slew of bolts dirt cheap at a salvage store.

Since my Marlin .22 M1/99 has no loading port and you must pull the magazine tube all the way out every time you reload anyway this is a perfect solution to quick reloading.

PS
I was planning to make shirt pocket sized tubes to hold five rounds each.
One might use tape to hold several together and roll them together for easy carry and so none get lost.

I use old TV antenna tubing. I crimp one end, pulls out of pocket or bag easier than the pins I would think. They work great.

Can i suggest marking one end of the tube so as not to load the 22's backwards. Maybe a plastic plug

the best thing to do is make plug or epoxy one end shut, and make a lanyard so you don't lose your hitch pin.

Tigon tubing also works well and will roll into a coil to take up less space.
