View Full Version : Hornady 32 Caliber Checks Inside Diameter

I'm collecting data for my use concerning the Hornady 32 caliber check (#7080), and would like to see what inside diameter measurements others come up with. Measure a minium of ten and select your average. Hornady checks only please!

Look for additional polls for just about all the other Hornady checks.

answer is .304 carefully measured as best as I could with a freshly calibrated dial calipers.
I use a .250 standard.

I am getting .299 on mine, lot # 2080498.

Micheal, I'm getting .300" on a 10 unit sample. Lot#2081076. (Entered in the "Other" category of the poll) Unfortunately, my RD mould is tossing bullets with a .303" shank using wheel weights. In short, I'm having diffulty getting the Hornady checks satisfactorily (sp) installed. Thx, Dorf

I get .302 with almost no variation.

I get .300 and .301 on mine.

i'm not sure how old these are but they measure ( i measured 10) .302--.304,, so the average is circa .303,,,not very scientific (there could be some oxidation on the inside edge)giving slight variations in dia.
here's a pic of the lot # maybe someone could hazard a guess as to their age ,i haven't a clue.[smilie=l:
