Looks like x-ray shielding from a hospital or dr.s office. Good stuff, you'll need some wheel weights to harden it up but man that stuff is probably worth at least $1.00 a pound.. Good for u, he was a heck of a nice guy..

Your options are basically unlimited.
Some people get all the luck.

Everything starts with pure lead. You're in pretty good shape to be trading when you feel you have enough and want other alloys.

You can use it straight, mix with it, or trade it for what you need.

Just be careful that it doesn't contain some arsenic. I melted down about 180# of x-ray sheeting once (still have it). The trace of arsenic when you flux is a white smoke that may make you sick. Dishwasher detergent in the washing machine will take it out of your clothes.

It's good stuff

Hi dudley2112,
Could be Roofing Squares. I melt alot of the same looking stuff.
Shielding lead can also look like that. But I can see no grommet holes for mounting it so it's probably as safe as Lead can be.
Roll it up, mash it flat, and render it into ingots. Nice Find!!
