It's the little things that bug me the most. Bought these bulk from Midway a while back. Just got to this one today. I spent about a minute trying to install the die[smilie=b: Don't have the reciept either, and is hardly worth the postage to return it.

If you have an account with Midway, just look up your order histry on the web site. You do not need the reciept. I would also call Hornady. They will replace that without any questions. I have broke parts and they sent new ones no charge. I tried to pay but they would not let me. Call Hornady and let them know about this, and let us know what they say.

Just got off the phone with Midway. They did not have any in the singles so they are sending me a three pack...GRATIS !! How's that for customer service? Should have them by Tuesday.:bigsmyl2: :bigsmyl2:

See, don't get upset until you have talked to the retailer and the manufacturer.
I expect these sorts of things with CAD/CAM and the ability of people to pick up from one bin and drop in another bin.

Anyone need an .82 caliber push thru sizing die? They did not even want it back, or ask for proof. It pays to have a long customer account record I guess.

I have had similar experiences with midway, they always have tried to make things right for me.

Every now and then, I used to find threaded(or supposed to be!) pipe fittings like that.

Wallenba, I sent you a pm. Think I can help you out so that you can still use that bushing...

Send a picture to the manufacture, maybe they will send you some.

:kidding:Can't you just file off the threads on the die? Should fit pretty well then.

I meant, run a reloading die (sizing die) into it.
Yep, mebbe only thirty seconds before I looked to see what the h311 was wrong. It was a morning pre-coffee event.

Got it Tommy, PM'd back.

Run a die into it. Now, who has a 7/8 - 14 die in stock?

CHANGE: OOPS! I meant TAP, run a tap into it. Too late at night, I guess!

Bill, I got an offer from Daywalker to use one. But I think it's more trouble than it's worth. I'm gonna keep it as a reminder to check my stuff when it arrives. P.S I knew you meant tap.

I felt the same way last Friday. I had purchased, among other paraphernalia for loading up 22 boolits, a .225 sizing die for my Saeco Lubrisizer. After casting a batch of 225107s with the wonderful die from NOE I went to set up the sizer. Pulled the 30 cal die and started to put the 22 die in when I made the stunning realization that...........IT HAD NO HOLES IN IT TO LUBE THE BOOLITS!!![smilie=b:
After calming down a bit I decided to call Midway Monday morning. However, I started going thru Boolit Withdrawal Saturday. I took some measurements on a 30 cal die, then went to the shop to check my homemade V-block for holding roundstock in the Lagun mill....damn! too big and 1/8 inch end mill had 1/4 shank........Then made trip to Big Tool Store on other side of Wichita (35 miles) and got small end mill and small V-blocks. Got home....more measurements, carefully measure to center of die boreline, then eyeball because I measured wrong..... a little tapping oil and a little time and had a working lube die:bigsmyl2:
Bad thing was I forgot to take pictures for posterity and to send to Midway..ah well, I was a happy camper tho 8-)
