It's always cool to see something slightly different being done on this site.
Instead of being called "Encapsulated Bullets," aren't they just DIY jacketed-bullets?
If they're cheap and easy to make with the equipment I have on hand, this may be something worth looking into but, since they're
being shown in the Swaging section of this forum, does it mean that a person would have to invest in alot of swaging equipment in order to
make them?
How do they perform?

The dies are about $150 for all you need. Use a reloading press and some imagination then WHAMMO bullets.

wow, it looks like your bullets have been spun on a lathe instead of swaged.

Pretty slick but don't they end up being rather dear by using two gas checks? Just wondering.

Sorry, I mean a bit expensive (dear). Looks like good work there.

Gas checks aren't bad...about a penny each. I think a freechex system would help.

I am not selling dies. I can make these in 40 caliber as well. It's possible to just do nearly anything with a little imagination.

So where do I spend my 150$. I have been lurking on this side for over a month and am curious. I am interested in making the 40 out of 9mm but where do I start? Does anyone have a list of what you need to buy. I think this is really cool!! I almost feel bad shoot perfectly good brass but the cool factor outweighs the bad.

I am using 11/32" tubing with a wall thickness of .014"
For this bullet I am cutting them to .700" and using a 311" 120gr Lyman 311-8 mold for the core.

How many jacket can you make with one brass tube?I am trying to brake down the cost per one round. Thanks
