nose punches and dies?

Are the rcbs #374 and the lyman #374 for the same nose profile? The reason I ask is because a local store stocks the rcbs stuff

Also how come rcbs only makes a .458 size die and not a .459 but lyman does? Any downside to a lyman die in an original rcbs lube a matic? Also what's up with the difference in # of lube holes?

Some RCBS numbers match with the Lyman and I think the 374 is one. However, I'd take my round nosed 45 boolit along and compare just to be sure. I have found no downside to interchanging sizing dies. I have a faint preference for the RCBS, but I have many more Lyman. The Lyman have more holes and work a little better with thick lubes, but that is not a problem for me.
