Gentlemen,

I picked up a jug of "virgin" WCC-860 today from pats reloading. I plan to try it in 8X57mm with 185-200gr Jword bullets (until I get an 8mm mold), so I have a couple of questions.

1. Should I duplex it? If so, with what? IMR-4198??

2. Should I light it with a mag primer??

I'd like to make up some loads tonight, then I will chronograph them tomorrow and post results.

Thanks in advance.

Load 20 rounds of each combination. That would make 4 batches according to your schedule. Use 3 to 5 grains of 4198, enough to cover the bottom of the case at least. ... felix

Felix,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Do I need to light the fire with a mag primer?
