I use 360 DW brass in mine for the best accuracy.

I've had good luck in that gun/caliber combination with Blue Dot, but even better results from H-110. I've been mostly using a custom modified Lyman mold that drops a 182 grain GC-SWC. I had very good results from a few Ranchdog 190 grain FPs that I tried too. I like that little gun.

I've got one that I reamed out to 357-max using a couple of machinist straight reamers; one to cut the chamber deeper and the other to cut a new throat.

So far I’m very satisfied with it and have only had a couple of hiccups along the way.

If you're going to drive cast bullets from handgun cartridges that hard out of a rifle then the key to success is a GC. Most inaccuracy reported is from top end magnum loads with PB'd cast bullets. The 200+ fps gain usually puts them over the top for many PB'd cast bullets.

In my short year or so casting bullets i have become a great fan of GC bullets. Do not like the cost or some of the other problems assoiated with them but i like the increased accuracy and lack of leading that goes with the problems.

My best fixed 357 loads where, 10.5 gr B'dot @ 1692 fps and 16.0 gr WC820 @ 1866 fps.

The barrel is 28" long Low Wall and the bullet was a H&G 51 B, it's a 150 gr SWC GC cast 50/50 WW/lino.
