Over the holidays, I was gifted a Weaver C6 .22 scope. Has the claw mounts for a grooved receiver.

I'm figuring putting it on a Marlin 39A that I have.

I've seen screw on mount bases that had the small grooves on them but darned if i can find them in Midsouth or Brownell's.

Any help here?/beagle

Brownell's sells that mount base material in a strip about 10 or 12 inches long. Or at least they used to. You cut off the length you need and drill your holes in the proper place. They have two sizes or contours. Parts numbers are: 080-029-844 and 080-030-104. Page 337 in the #58 catalog.
