My wife (I love that woman) just ordered me a set of shooting sticks from African Sporting Creations. Can't wait to get them. Anyone else ever used them? I'd like to hear comments if you have. Thanks.

They get a heck of a good review on AR. Quality all the way.

I've never read anything bad about them. Here's a link if anyone wants to look around. It's a cool website. They have a lot of stuff that you're certainly not going to find anywhere else.

They look nice and seem to be priced accordingly. I made my own shooting sticks following this guide:

I use a bog-pod and think very highly of it.

I find the tripod arrangement much more stable than a bipod. I use and like the Primos 'Trigger stick'. It deploys with the squeeze of a handle and is pretty stable. The one I like allows me to shoot when standing. True it is some more bulky when carrying. Because of that I have not taken it hunting. I just use it for target and general plinking. I usually hunt from a tree stand so I don't need a seperate gun support. I checked those African shooting sticks out and they are nice.

I also made the Varmint Al version. Totally satisfactory!
