Raining outside today so I cast up a potfull of RCBS 37-250-FN's for an accuracy experiment with my '85 highwall Browning, you get time for some heavy thinkin' while you're casting :confused:Is there any advantage in stirring the molten alloy after it's fluxed? When I started casting I used to stir the alloy regularily during a casting session thinking the lead/tin/antimony would separate if I didn't :?: Then one day some years ago I decided "hey, this is an alloy, it isn't going to separate, all I'm doing in stirring it is keeping the dirt contaminants suspended so they're more likely to end up in the bullets and introducing air bubbles :groner: Now the only stirring I do is to gently stir in the flux at the start
