View Full Version : Carry Cases, Single Shot Take Down

Selecting cases for the single shot take down was a decision for me and I wanted to pass along what I selected because they were hard to find:

The above Uncle Mike case works fine for my scoped Remington Spartan with a 24" barrel. The compartments inside are not shown in the add but they are lengthwise and secured with Velcro. This holds the taken down rifle solidly in the cushioning. It can also be used for my scoped NEF Handi-Rifle and between the compartments there is room for a second 22 inch scoped accessory barrel.

The above case was also a choice that looked ample, with a more attractive price. Both of these cases got good reviews by previous buyers. But took me a lot of looking to find either of them.

If you have other cases for your take down, please share for others that may be looking.

see the old leather case in pics in this thread i picked up at auction for about $20. wish i had several more...looking for something similar for a 24" barreled double rifle i am making...

Those are nice but way pricey new you were lucky to find something. A relative of mine collects fine rare shotguns and has several beautiful take down cases. He wouldn't part with any of them...I checked!
