Ballistol & LLA

Hello,

Relatively new to casting. I've been reloading for a long time, but recently got the bug to cast my own. Not a bad bug to have.
Anyway, I did a search for info on using Ballistol mixed with LLA as a tumble lube. Not a lot of information about this combination. I just cast a few hundred 230g for my 45 ACP, and tumble lubed them with the above combination 50% each. Seemed to go well. I will hopefully have time to get to the range next week to see how they shoot.

With all the crazy combinations for lube out there, I can't think of any reason why this won't work. Any thoughts?

Can't thik of one reason not to give it a try. My black powder lube is 50% beeswax, 40% olive oil, and 10% ballistol. Makes a great patch/bullet lube.

Post your results, you never know, simple things are sometimes the best solution.

Thanks for the reply Curly.
I really like using Ballistol for gun cleaning and lubrication, so it kind of make sense to try it as part of a lube recipe. I'll let you know how it goes.
