hey guys i got 2 bars of 50/50 solder and 27 pounds of lead at a garage sale 2 day for 5 dollars the solder is 1 pound bars whats it all worth ?

Must be the new math.
I see 28 lbs of lead and one lb of tin. Lead @ $1.lb and Tin @ $10. That's $38. total for a profit of $33.

One pound of 50/50 solder runs from $5 to $10 or more depending on where you buy it. Average is about $9, if I recall correctly. Lead is about $1.00 per pound.

So you paid $5 for $45 worth of lead and Tin. Not too bad a deal if you ask me.

I am not gonna even touch the "Rotten Apple" thing?
