Hey everyone, a good friend of mine wants me to load up some ammo for him but I am lacking in the necessary load data for it.

The bullets will be boolits of either 195 or 210 gr lead cast from a lee mold. I have yet to order the mold so either will do. The powder I will be using is Unique. Can anyone help?

head over to the Alliant website, they have load data you'll want to use.

With Lee's TL410-210-SWC cast of WW + 2% tin, sized .410 and lubed with Javelina my favorite load is 8.5 gr of Unique. Runs right at 1150 fps out of my 7.5" Bisley and is quite accurate and pleasant to shoot.

8.5 grains of unique is what everyone keeps telling me so sounds like the place to start. Thanks.

That's what I use in a 3 screw Ruger- pleasant to shoot but not whimpy.

8.5 for me too with a 220 grain Keith, burns clean, and accurate out of 4 Smith's.

jrhoney, welcome to the castBoolits.
I shot 8 grains of unique for decades under the Lyman 410459 slug.
I even took two deer with this load, probably 20 years ago. Unique works well.
