Any one load for, shoot a low wall in 22WCF.
Looking to get educated in what it takes.
Have a uncle that has grandpa's old rifle
and has never shot it.

Would like to get some loads together for him.
From what I understand you can use hornet brass.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Say Al there was just a fella looking for some light weight .229" 22s for a velo dog revolver.
I posted that you just made the 107 available in .228" and that they might drop at .229"
He is just a couple pages in so if you click the today button you might catch up with him.
Sorry to interrupt you thread.

In my relined Stevens #44, I use the Ideal 225107 with 4.5 gr Unique, or 4.5 gr of SR-4759 with the 225415. I size the boolits as large as I can; at least 0.226".

The .22 Hornet cases are an exact match, in my experience, once the necks are expanded for the larger diameter boolits.

Thanks for the info.
Got dies, brass and a .228107 bullet mould.
As soon as I can get a .228 size die will give your load a try.
