I fear many of our members live in those areas and my heart is out to them. All we can do is pray for them.

We can't send enough prayers, but we can try.

So far hasn't here. Joplin is about 80 miles South west of us, but we have more storms coming today.

Wow that was a wild ride! 240 mph winds and a EF5 tornado. My wife and I rode it out in a 2004 crown vic. Did it once, DO NOT want to do it again!

skipme56,

Glad you and your wife are OK!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those that are not OK or who have lost or missing loved ones!

This sure has not been an "easy" year!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been impacted by the these tornados; and also to those with the flooding; and basically, to everyone who has been affected by these horrible weather events. Tornados were never the normal for me in my area, but last year one touched down across the street from me - and that was too close for comfort. We were fortunate no one got hurt in our area; the $12000 damage to my house and property was eventually fixed but it was a drop in the bucket compared to those who have lost their lives, loved ones, neighbors, left homeless, etc.

Just horrible.

Again, I send out heartfelt prayers.

With kind regards,

~ Kathie
