I've experimented a bit. Got some nice heavy pills in .500 from 45acp brass. Still perfecting it though but it can be done.

I have just started feeding my eagle .44 mag BTS boolits. They have to be seated deep to clear the mag . That raises pressures ,but I backed the load down quite a bit and it seems to be working out well.
What wt. boolit does your .50 like?
