Enough to make 10,500,000 200 gr .45 acp SWC boolits. I probably won't shoot that many in my lifetime.

it's tempting to bid $200 and see what happens. My luck, I'd win and then trying to take delivery would bankrupt me.

Would be a great deal for somebody in western WA state or somebody with a good flatbed.

It's too bad some foreign scrapper will probably win the bid and it will all end up in China or Japan instead of here being boolitized. I have bid on a few lots of brass in the past in hopes of getting enough to keep me in reloading supplies forever, but it's like ebay. There are way to many folks with more money than sense bidding on this stuff.

Okay, I'm not really in this camp, but the joke is just sitting there - Would Obama be allowed to even look at it?

A true copy of a person's birth certificate with a raised state seal or valid passport must be presented to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard pass and Id office.

I don't think the bamster is eligible.

Maybe he could use his Indonesian passport. It's probably valid.

group buy

Yep, a group buy would be great, but who would be the honcho with the flatbed deuce and a half???

bowfin

Scratch the deuce and a half, I see some pieces that weigh 48,600 pounds. That would take some hacking up, even for a 100 lb. pot.

It really would be fun to be a honcho for such a project...

Hey, how about a contest to guess how much this pile of lead will bring?

If the moderators will okay it, I will supply modest but worth your time prizes.

The only problem with the big pieces is that they may also contain ship or submarine hull sections as stated below:

'could also include Lead brick, lead shot or poured lead encased in steel containers welded to submarine or surface ship steel HTS hull sections. Average size and weight per piece: 5ft. long X 8ft. wide X6ft.high and 48,600 pounds.'

If we do a GB on this I will volunteer to operate the big rig! Still got a valid CDL!!

Just would like a little of it to compensate me for my effort!!!

Auction is half over, and only $1,000???

No wonder the Feds are broke.

Then again, we have all of tomorrow to go, so I hope it brings a tad bit more, or I will lay awake at nights thinking of how I could have pulled this off.

We need to do a group buy on say maybe 50,000lbs close to a member with acres to semi with flatbed trailer and enough space to keep it and we could come and and bring our smelter setups and have a party.

I did a bid on one of the spent brass 5.56 NATO/ 9mm auctions and at one point I was high bidder, but as the auction neared the end, the real players showed up and I seriously think they have sharpened their pencils to a fine point.
