I got some BT 290's & 330's and CP 300's to try with IMR 4198. But I’m thinking of giving a Hodgdon powder a try too.

Seems that H322 & H335 are the most popular. Which one do you guys prefer ?

H322 is my all-round favorite .444 powder.

I use them both, along with RE-7. All good choices.

Those are all good choices except I wouldn't use 4198 with the 330 grain boolit. H335 would probably be the best for that one but you'll have to deal with other variables like boolit profile, diameter and hardness before you find your favorite powders for that cartridge. The 330 may crowd the combustion chamber a bit if it has a large tangent ogive and a smallish meplat. Re7 is my favorite powder with Lee430310 at 14BHN.

I've used both H322 and H335 with the Beartooth 290-grain LFNGC. When I get back home, I will post my information. I've used it in my 444T (24" barrel) and 444P (18.5" Barrel). These are my "end of the world" boolits. If something happens and I'm not able to cast (it would have to be the end of the world), I shoot them. I try to keep 300 to 500 of them on my shelf.
