How to remove Win. 67 bolt

OK, my dad (100) has given me his latest 22 purchase, a Win. 67 that needs a good cleaning. He doesn't think he's up to gun work any more, but he's still picking up "projects" for me.

I don't remember how to remove the bolt—it's been over 40 years since I cleaned up my first 67A. I seem to remember holding the trigger back as you remove the bolt. If that's the correct technique, any workarounds? It sure isn't working on this one.

Lift the bolt handle, Pull the trigger fully and hold it in that position, now pull the bolt straight back & remove it from the receiver.

Reverse the above to put the bolt back in.
