I'm not sure if this is the right forum but here goes. I'm considering installing a Vernier style tang sight on a Winoku 92 32-20 lever. It has the tang safety but a sight can be D&T for installation at the end of the tang. I'll be using the tang safety so my thumb will be out of the way of a far rear mounted tang sight.

I looked on MVA's site and thought the Sporting Tang with windage might be an option. Also considering a combo Lyman #5 or Globe front sight.

Just looking for ideas. The rifle is a long octagon barrel take down in an early rifle style. I am buiding it for fun shooting and a woods loafing rifle that can punch a decent group at the range. Sorry smokeless loads, my BP rifle is a flintlock.

You might want to look at the Marbles sights at Buffalo Arms. They make one that fits on a rifle with a tang safety and it is a neat unit with both elevation and windage.
